Two Guns… So…
Two Guns is based on a graphic novel (of the same name) written by Steven Grant and drawn by Mat Santolouco.
So it has a good foundation.
Two Guns opens on August 2nd. It looks like it’s competition will be 300: Rise of an Empire and Red 2.
So it should/could open at #1.

I like this teaser poster for World War Z.
I liked World War Z novel by Max Brooks, and think I’ll like the movie as well.
And, yeah, I know it’s not going to be a true adaptation of the novel. As long as the movie is good, I’m okay with that.

Captain America and the Celebrity Bar
CBR.com runs a regular feature where they post “Easter Eggs” hidden in comics. These are drawings of actors, other comic companies characters and the like in the background of stories. I love stuff like this.
This week’s installment looks at Captain America #401 by Mark Gruenwald, Rik Levins and Danny Bulanadi. It is packed with appearances by famous folks such as Dick Tracy, Reid Flemming: The World’s Toughest Milk Man, James Bond, Elvis Presley, The Adams Family, and more.

MegaCon or Bust!
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, my buddy, John Beatty and I are going to be in Orlando hanging out with several thousand other like-minded folks. Yep, it’s time for MegaCon.
John is going as a guest of the show. That means while John is sketching for fans, I’ll either be hanging at his table keeping the fun at it’s maximum level or I’ll be visiting with other artists/friends looking to get a sketch or two for my Stallone Sketch theme collection.
If you’ve never been to MegaCon, you’re missing out. There’s something for everyone. There are celebrity guests, comic book creators, dozens of artists sketching for fans, panels, gaming, and more.

Drew Moss Says IDrew the Art in the Sketchbook
Drew Moss is putting out a 100 page sketchbook that he calls IDrew. It will be available as a hardcover or digitally.
During the pre-order phase, you can get the sketchbook with a headsketch for five extra bucks or a full body sketch for an extra 20. The pre-order ends on April 19th — so get your order in before that if you want to take advantage of the offer.
Die Hard at the White House – I’m OK with That
I’m really looking forward to Olympus Has Fallen. Sure, it’s probably going to be “Die Hard at the White House” but hey, I’m okay with that.
Speaking of things I’m okay with, the poster above is probably the best yet for Olympus Has Fallen… and it’s just okay.
100 Bullets’ Lono is Back!
100 Bullets by writer Brian Azzarello, artist Eduardo Risso, colorist Trish Mulvihill, letterer Clem Robbins and cover artist Dave Johnson ran for 100 issues and was one of the best crime comics ever. When it ended, most fans appreciated that the story was done, but hated the loss of their monthly crime fix.
Now, nearly three years later, the entire creative team is returning to bring us a limited series which not only takes place in the same universe as 100 Bullets, but features one of the series most popular characters, Lono.
It’s like Christmas came early.

Jock’s “Zero Dark Thirty” – Secret Mission Indeed
Have you seen this poster for Zero Dark Thirty?
It was drawn by Jock for @MondoNews. Jock sent it out to his Twitter followers and pointed out that the soldiers coming down the ropes spell out Zero Dark Thirty.
Did you catch that just from looking at the poster? I didn’t, but love that Jock was creative enough to add that extra layer.
