I’m a big fan of Daniel Craig as James Bond. In fact, I’ll go as far as to to say that Casino Royal is my favorite of all the Bond films. Ok, once the booing dies down, we’ll continue. Yes, Sean Connery *is* James Bond. Ok, I’ll even say Connery is my favorite Bond.
I’m just trying to establish that I’m a big fan of Daniel Craig as Bond. So it surprises me that I don’t like the teaser poster for his latest outing as 007 in Skyfall. Every time I look at it I see an old man.
If you’d like to see a big as the Sky-fall version of the poster, you can thanks to the friendly folks at IMPAwards.
Since I wrote my opinion on the Skyfall poster, I see that the movie’s teaser trailer was released. Now that, I like. Maybe because Daniel Craig looked more like Bond than some old guy dressed as Bond.
This latest poster for Prometheus just makes me want to see it even more.

Today we have Sly as Barney Ross by Shawn Surface. Shawn is an all-around nice guy and his art should be getting more attention. This may be the best news of the day, perhaps the week: Mickey Rourke [Marv] and Jessica Alba [Nancy] are set to return to Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For, The movie will begin filming in 3D later this summer for an October 4, 2013 release.

Today’s Rocky and Adrian drawing above was created by the uber talented Chris Brunner at last year’s Heroes Con. I’m a huge fan and it was a joy to get a second piece from Chris for my collection. He did my first piece from him back in 2003!

There’s speculation that it could be fan-made, but even if it turns out to be, I’m still diggin’ it.

The Rambo drawing above is by the very talented Eli Minaya. I met Eli at this year’s MegaCon. I’d never seen Eli’s art before, but decided on the spot to see about getting a con sketch from him. Eli was up for it and Rambo seemed the natural choice. As you can see from the piece above, it was.
