{"id":10777,"date":"2014-09-19T16:00:09","date_gmt":"2014-09-19T20:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=10777"},"modified":"2025-10-21T15:31:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T19:31:11","slug":"comics-deserving-a-relaunch-master-of-kung-fu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=10777","title":{"rendered":"Master of Kung Fu &#8211; Comics That Deserve a Second (Or First) Look!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2014\/z091914gulacy_shangchi.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"642\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Master of Kung Fu.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Shang-Chi<\/strong>\u00a0was raised to become a weapon. \u00a0Trained from an early age, <strong>Shang-Chi<\/strong> became a master in the martial arts. \u00a0When <strong>Shang-Chi<\/strong> discovered that his father was a truly evil man, \u00a0<strong>Shang-Chi<\/strong> reluctantly became an agent for the <strong>British<\/strong> government \u2014 think <strong>Bruce Lee\u00a0<\/strong>working with <strong>James Bond<\/strong> \u2014 and found himself in adventures just as wild as in any<strong> 007\u00a0<\/strong>movie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I&#8217;m particularly found of two teams that worked on the series.\u00a0 Both teams featured writer <strong>Doug Moench<\/strong>. My favorite artists who worked with <strong>Moench<\/strong> were <strong>Paul Gulacy<\/strong> and later, <strong>Mike Zeck<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve never read<strong> Master of Kung Fu<\/strong>, consider giving it a chance.\u00a0 If you&#8217;ve read the series, perhaps it&#8217;s time for a second look.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Master of Kung Fu.
