\"\"<\/a>Today’s my birthday<\/b>. I’m 47<\/b>. It’s hard to believe that I now easily fit into the category often described as “middle aged<\/b>.” Truth be told, unless I live to be 94<\/b>, I’m past my middle age. <\/div>\n

It’s always a cliche when people say that “you’re only as young as you feel<\/b>” or “I sure don’t feel ___<\/b>.” But truthfully, I don’t FEEL 47<\/b>. Well, not unless 47<\/b> feels like 27<\/b>. <\/p>\n

There was a guy I worked wih years ago. He was a few days older than me. When he turned 30<\/b> he freaked out. Really<\/u>. He couldn’t stop talking about how depressed<\/b> being 30<\/b> made him. For me 30<\/b> was just another birthday. So was 40<\/b>. For some strange reason 45<\/b> seemed different. I wasn’t freaked out like my co-worker at 30<\/b>, but 45<\/b> did seem like a milestone<\/b>. How did I become 45<\/b> so fast?<\/p>\n

Now I’m 47<\/b>. I don’t feel older. Well, not THAT<\/u> much older. I know that 47<\/b> seems old when you’re a teenager<\/b>, or even if you’re in your 20’s<\/b>. I’m here to tell you that 47<\/b> is the new 35<\/b>!<\/p>\n

At any rate, it is my birthday and I’ve got to tell you, “You’re only as young as you feel and I sure don’t feel 47<\/b>.”<\/p>\n
