I like Quentin Tarantino<\/b> movies and I like Robert Rodriguez<\/b>‘s movies… but I really loved From Dusk Til Dawn<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Here’s another…<\/p>\n

I like movies<\/b> and I like books about movies<\/b>… so I really loved Rebel without a Crew<\/b><\/u> by Robert Rodriguez<\/b>.<\/p>\n

So what does all this have to do with today’s post?<\/p>\n

Well… Quentin Tarantino<\/b> and Robert Rodriguez<\/b> are joining forces to create a movie called “Grind House.”<\/b> The cool thing is that “Grind House”<\/b> will actually be divided into two separate movies<\/b> [like a double feature<\/b> that you could have seen at the drive-in<\/b>, back when they had drive-ins<\/b>]. Tarantino’s<\/b> will be called “Death Proof”<\/b> and Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror.”<\/b> They’re even going to make some fake coming attractions trailers<\/b> for the complete “drive-in”<\/b> experience.<\/p>\n

So how could this get any better, you ask [and I’m glad that you did]. Tarantino<\/b> and Rodriguez<\/b> are going to team to create a 250 page hardcover<\/b> titled GRIND HOUSE<\/b><\/u>: THE SLEAZE-FILLED SAGA OF AN EXPLOITATION DOUBLE FEATURE<\/u><\/b><\/span> that will be filled with cast and crew interviews<\/b>, hundreds of full-color photographs<\/b>, never-before-seen conceptual art <\/b>and an in-depth history <\/b>of the grindhouse genre<\/b> by the directors themselves.<\/p>\n

So we’ve got the movie and the book… now if someone will just remember the candy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
