Here are my top five…<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Their first \u201cdirector\u2019s cut\u201d was two hours and twenty minutes. That\u2019s thirty nine minutes longer than the film\u2019s theatrical cut.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> They acknowledge that in the real world a retired assassin probably would have changed his name, but they like they idea of this world being similar to that of a comic book.<\/p>\n

13.<\/strong> They were heavily influenced by the style of graphic novels and attempted to capture some of that in the colors, framing and angles.<\/p>\n

20.<\/strong> They love seeing people\u2019s reactions to the gold coins, the cop (Thomas Sadoski<\/strong>) at the front door and other unexplained sequences. \u201cA lot of people don\u2019t give their audiences credit,\u201d says Leitch. \u201cYou can leave it a little mysterious. They can think about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

18.<\/strong> They credit Reeves\u2019 dedication and talent with their ability to do long takes during the fight scenes. \u201cI think we really only cut for impact,\u201d says Stahelski. \u201cWe didn\u2019t really cut to get around moves, we didn\u2019t cut to speed things up. We wanted you to see what happens before, during and after.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019re not using long lenses to hide bad action,\u201d adds Leitch.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
