{"id":1250,"date":"2006-06-06T20:05:00","date_gmt":"2006-06-07T00:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=1250"},"modified":"2006-06-06T20:05:00","modified_gmt":"2006-06-07T00:05:00","slug":"the-shield-one-last-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=1250","title":{"rendered":"The Shield: One Last Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stallonezone.com\/z060606shield.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stallonezone.com\/z060606shield.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial;\">This is the best news I heard all day:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">Variety<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> reports that: <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"font-family: arial;\"><p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">FX<\/span> has greenlit <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Shield<\/span> for a final batch of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">13 episodes<\/span>, which will premiere in early <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">2008<\/span>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\">The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">sixth season<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> is currently in production and will begin airing early next year. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\">At this point it looks like the episodes in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">2008<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> will be it for the show. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">FX president-general manager John Landgraf<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> has said, &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">Shawn<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">Ryan<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> &#8212; creator of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">The Shield<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\">) and I have been discussing how it will end.. I know what the arc is of the final season, almost through the last episode, and this is definitely the end of it.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\">I&#8217;ll be sad to see <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: arial;\">The Shield<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"> end, but I do like the idea of it following it&#8217;s course to a definite conclusion.
