\nDan Brereton<\/span> has several projects coming out that I know will appeal to many ZONE<\/span>rs. You can bet that I’m going to be on the lookout for them.<\/span><\/p>\n

This Halloween<\/span> (and talk about perfect timing) all of Dan<\/span>‘s Nocturnals<\/b> stories will be collected in three oversized hardcovers<\/span>. Each edition will contain a new story<\/span> and new art<\/span> in addition to the reprinted stories. The plan is to then continue with new Nocturnal adventures.<\/span><\/span>

\n<\/span><\/p>\n

[For those of you who came in late, The Nocturnals<\/span> is a horor\/crime\/sci-fi series<\/span> featuring: <\/span>Doc Horror<\/span>, a scientist \/ adventurer; Eve<\/span> (aka Halloween Girl<\/span>) has supernatural powers and is Doc’s little daughter; <\/span>Gunwitch<\/span> is <\/span>Eve<\/span>‘s self-appointed bodyguard<\/span> (who happens to be <\/span>a scarecrow<\/span>… a gunslinging scarecrow<\/span>); <\/span>Polychrome<\/span> is a ghost<\/span>; Starfish<\/span>, an amphibian girl<\/span>; Firelion<\/span>, a pyrokinetic samurai<\/span>; and the Raccoon<\/span>, a infamous gangster<\/span>).<\/span><\/div>\n

I’m also hoping for a release of The Last Battle<\/span>, a “gladiator”<\/span> graphic novel that teamed Dan<\/span> with Italian<\/span> writer Tito Faraci<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
