I’ve been into vampires lately. Remember back here<\/span><\/a> when I told you about the new Blade comic series<\/span> that Howard Chaykin<\/span> was going to draw?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m currently reading Underland<\/span><\/a> by Mick Farren<\/span>. It’s got modern day vampires<\/span>, as well as modern day Nazis<\/span>, conspiracy theories<\/span>, UFO’s<\/span> and more. I’m digging it and am only about 1\/2<\/span> way through.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before <\/span>Underland<\/span><\/a> I read Already Dead<\/span><\/a> by Charlie Huston<\/span>. Huston<\/span> has quickly become one of my favorite writers. <\/span>Already Dead<\/span><\/a> also features a modern day vampire<\/span>, uh vampyre<\/span>. As much as I’m enjoying <\/span>Underland<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Already Dead<\/span><\/a> is even better. It combines The Godfather<\/span>, Raymond Chandler<\/span>, Mickey Spillane<\/span> and the end result is pure Charlie Huston<\/span>. I highly recommend this one!<\/span>Okay… enough about me and vampires<\/span>.
