So, what does <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> have to do to win?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

First of all, he must <\/span><\/span>stay off his back<\/span>. If <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> takes <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> down, the fight could be over quickly. That’s because <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> is at his best when he’s <\/span><\/span>“groundin’ and poundin’.”<\/span> If <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> can <\/span><\/span>avoid the takedowns<\/span> and <\/span><\/span>push the fight into the second and third rounds<\/span>, <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> will get frustrated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second thing that <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> must do is to <\/span><\/span>keep moving and punching<\/span>. If he stands still <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> will take him down. If he doesn’t throw a lot of punches, <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> will take him down. [Heck, even if <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> is moving and sticking, <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> may <\/span><\/span>still<\/span> take him down.] By constantly changing his angles and throwing hands, <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> will force <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> to slow his attack. And of course open up the opportunity for <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> to land a knockout blow.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So, what does <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> have to do to win?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ortiz<\/span> needs to <\/span><\/span>be careful<\/span> when shooting for the takedown. Everyone is expecting <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> to go for the big slam, so if <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> has trained and is able to execute, <\/span><\/span>Ortiz<\/span> could get hammered coming in. <\/span><\/span>Ortiz <\/span>needs to be patient and pick his shots. If he takes <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> down, he needs to <\/span><\/span>swing away<\/span> as fast and as hard as possible. <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> can be rocked and will then take a few punches before responding. This could lead to another quick stoppage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So how do I see the fight going?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that <\/span><\/span>Ortiz <\/span>is going to win. <\/span><\/span>Shamrock<\/span> has a <\/span><\/span>puncher’s chance<\/span>, but odds are against it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Still… I can’t wait to see how it all goes down because, as we all know, it ain’t over until it’s over.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
