Elvis was initially\u00a0offered a role in the film.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>It is believed he would play the Guardian Angel role, but he did not accept.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">3. In \u201cLook at Me I\u2019m Sandra Dee\u201d they changed the reference\u00a0and it has a freaky coincidence.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>In the stage play, the song had a reference to Sal Mineo,\u00a0who was murdered in 1976. For the movie, they changed the lyric to \u201c<em>Elvis<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Elvis<\/em>,\u00a0<em>let me be<\/em>! Keep that pelvis far from me!\u201d In reference\u00a0to Elvis\u00a0Presley,\u00a0who died the same day the scene was filmed. The day was August 16, 1977.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">10. Lucille Ball is the reason her daughter was not cast as Rizzo and the part went to Stockard Channing.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>Lucie Arnaz was dropped from consideration after Lucille Ball called and said\u00a0\u201cI used to own that studio; my daughter\u2019s not doing a screen test!\u201d But actually, she owned the studio <strong>Desilu<\/strong> which was bought by Paramount.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hollywood.com\u00a0presents 25 Facts You Didn&#8217;t Know About Grease.\u00a0\u00a0Here are three of my favorites&#8230; 1.
