One of the cool things about the internet <\/span>is that it allows people who would otherwise never meet to become “friends.” Let me give you an example.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alex <\/span>is from Belgium <\/span>and regularly visits the StalloneZone<\/span> and my blog<\/span> here. Alex<\/span> sent me a surprise “snail mail” package<\/span>. In it were three autographed photos<\/span>: <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  1. Laura Harring<\/span><\/a> is an actress<\/span> who played in seven episodes<\/span> of “The Shield” <\/span>as well as a ton of other stuff<\/li>\n
  2. DJ Caruso<\/span> directed four episodes<\/span> of “The Shield”<\/span> as well as one of my favorite movies<\/span>, “The Salton Sea”<\/span> as well as many other tv shows and feature films<\/li>\n
  3. Actor, singer<\/span> and songwriter Kris Kristofferson<\/span> co-starred with Sly<\/span> in “Eye See You,”<\/span> Mel Gibson<\/span> in “Payback”<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Alex<\/span> sent these items to me out of pure kindness<\/span>… all the way from Belgium<\/span>. I’ve never met Alex<\/span>, but only a friend would be so nice<\/span>… thanks to the internet. And a bigger thanks to Alex<\/span>!<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
