\nThough John Astin auditioned for the role of the butler, it\u2019s no wonder casting directors assigned him to Gomez, instead\u2014the actor and the character apparently share a lot of similarities. \u201cMy brother said that Gomez is the clearest extension of my personality than anything else I\u2019ve done,\u201d Astin said. \u201cThat\u2019s really who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n
