Whew!  It&#8217;s hard to believe that I&#8217;m in my last year before the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">half century mark<\/span>.  Seems like it came so fast&#8230; and each year goes by a bit faster.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">photo above<\/span> was brought to me out of the blue early this morning.  A student at the high school where I&#8217;m  an assistant principal brought it in to show me.  I attended a party for his mother when we were both in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">high school<\/span> and this picture was taken there.  I&#8217;d <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">never seen it before<\/span> today. [That&#8217;s me, 2nd person in the front row.]   It was <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">strange<\/span> seeing a picture of me for the first time<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> over 30 years <\/span>after it was taken.  And <a style=\"color: rgb(204, 0, 0);\" href=\"http:\/\/zablozone.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/take-you-back.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">this is the second time<\/span><\/a> in less than a month that it&#8217;s happened.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe on my <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">79th birthday<\/span> someone will bring in a photo of me <\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"> taken this decade <\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">that I&#8217;ve never before seen.  My guess is that it would be a similarly strange experience and that I would end my blog post by saying,<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> I don&#8217;t feel 79<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">I don&#8217;t feel 49<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I turned 49.
