{"id":17435,"date":"2017-02-26T12:28:14","date_gmt":"2017-02-26T16:28:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=17435"},"modified":"2017-02-26T12:28:14","modified_gmt":"2017-02-26T16:28:14","slug":"rip-bill-paxton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=17435","title":{"rendered":"RIP &#8211; Bill Paxton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2017\/z022617rip_billpaxton.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bill Paxton died today from complications from surgery. \u00a0Mr. Paxton was just 61.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I first took notice of Bill Paxton in his role as Chet in <em>Weird Science<\/em>. \u00a0Not long after that I realized that I&#8217;d seen Paxton in small but memorable roles in <em>Streets of Fire<\/em> and <em>The Terminator<\/em>. \u00a0Paxton followed <em>Weird Science<\/em> with a small role in<em> Commando<\/em>. \u00a0He then landed his breakout role as Private Hudson in <em>Aliens<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paxton went on to a have a career that spanned over 40 years appearing tv shows and movies. \u00a0A few of my favorite Bill Paxton performances include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Weird Science<\/em> &#8211; Chet<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Aliens<\/em> &#8211; Private Hudson<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Near Dark<\/em> &#8211;\u00a0Severen<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Tombstone<\/em> &#8211; Morgan Earp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>True Lies<\/em> &#8211; Simon<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Twister<\/em> &#8211; Bill<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>A Simple Plan<\/em> &#8211; Hank<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Frailty<\/em> &#8211; Dad Meiks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Paxton also appeared in <em>Miami Vice, Next of Kin, Navy Seals, Predator 2, One False Move, Trespass, Apollo 13, Titanic, Mighty Joe Young, U-571, Spy Kids 2 &amp; 3, Frasier<\/em> and so many other shows and movies. \u00a0He was currently starring in the tv series <em>Training Day<\/em>. \u00a0Anything Mr. Paxton appeared in, he made better.<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill Paxton&#8217;s family, friends and fans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bill Paxton died today from complications from surgery. \u00a0Mr. Paxton was just 61.
