The world doesn\u2019t know that they exist, but they do. They can\u2019t turn into bats or mist. Crosses don\u2019t kill them; in fact bullets don\u2019t either&#8230; usually. They\u2019re strong; they\u2019re fast and victims of a vyrus. Most are members of one of the many clans&#8230; safety in numbers and all that. Word is that a clan war is brewing, and that\u2019s the least of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Joe Pitt\u2019s problems<\/span>.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Good:<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Charlie Huston<\/span> can write. <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Joe Pitt\u2019s attitude<\/span> [which is bad]. <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Stretch<\/span> the midget vampyre. What <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Joe<\/span> is willing to risk for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Evie<\/span>. The attack at the side show. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Bad:<\/span> The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">vampyre freaks<\/span>. The side show. The beating <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Joe<\/span> takes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Ugly:<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Joe Pitt\u2019s vengeance<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Summary:<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Half the Blood of Brooklyn<\/span> is an excellent example of why <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Charlie Huston<\/span> is one of my favorite writers. He\u2019s created a world of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">vampyres<\/span> that could exist outside my window NOW.
