\"\"<\/a>Tomorrow night the UFC<\/span> presents UFC 84: Ill Will<\/span>. This is the first MMA<\/span> fight card in a while that I’ve been excited about. There are three fights<\/span> that really interest me. Let’s take a look at them and my predictions.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

  • BJ Penn vs. Sean Sherk<\/span> for the lightweight championship<\/span>. BJ<\/span> won the title when Sherk<\/span> was stripped of it for alleged steroid use. Now Sherk<\/span> is back and he wants his title. This could be a great fight. Most folks are leaning towards BJ by submission<\/span>, and he should win, but to keep things interesting I just may throw down a dollar on Sherk<\/span> if I can get the right odds.
    <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    • Wanderlei Silva vs. Keith Jardine<\/span>. This should be the slugfest<\/span> of the night. Both men will probably come out throwing bombs. Whoever lands best wins. Pretty simple, huh? I’m going with Jardine by KO<\/span>.\n

    • Tito Ortiz vs. Lyoto Machida<\/span>. One of the things that makes this fight so interesting is the stuff going on behind the scenes of the fight. <\/span>Tito<\/span> and <\/span>UFC <\/span>head honcho, <\/span>Dana White<\/span>, have bad blood. This is <\/span>Tito’s last fight<\/span> under his current <\/span>UFC<\/span> contract. <\/span>Dana<\/span> wants <\/span>Tito<\/span> to leave with a loss so he’s matched him up against <\/span>Machida<\/span>, an <\/span>undefeated<\/span> (12-0) rising star. <\/span>Tito<\/span> wants to put down <\/span>Dana’s golden boy<\/span> before leaving the <\/span>UFC<\/span> for greener pastures. Styles make fights and this one is tough to call. <\/span>Tito<\/span> needs the takedown to be most effective. <\/span>Machida<\/span> likes to fight backing up. He’s a counter-puncher. I hate to go against<\/span> Tito<\/span>, but I’m thinking the edge goes to<\/span> Machida by decision<\/span>.<\/span>
