On <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Saturday<\/span> night <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">CBS<\/span> teams with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">EliteXC<\/span> and jumps into the mix with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Kimbo Slice<\/span> headlining a card that also features a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">female MMA fighter<\/span>.  <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Sunday Jens Pulver<\/span> challenges <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Urijah Faber<\/span> for his <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">World Extreme Cagefighting<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">featherweight title belt<\/span> on the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">VS<\/span> channel.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no doubt that I plan to tune in both nights.  I&#8217;m a fan of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">MMA<\/span> fighting and will enjoy the bouts.  <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Saturday<\/span> night my guess is a lot of folks who aren&#8217;t already <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">MMA<\/span> fans will tune in to see what all the fuss is about.  Thinking along those lines I planned a post about why <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Kimbo<\/span> shouldn&#8217;t become the face of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">MMA<\/span>, but why he might be [at least for a while]. Then I read <a style=\"color: rgb(204, 0, 0);\" href=\"http:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/mma\/news;_ylt=Aql_2aERKe9xhf5Ew5lPjV09Eo14?slug=dw-slice052808&amp;prov=yhoo&amp;type=lgns\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Dan Wetzel&#8217;s column today<\/span><\/a> and realized that he said everything I planned to and more.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend there are two nights of MMA action available to fans.
