He won <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">four Oscars<\/span> [for his work on<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> \u201cAliens\u201d, \u201cTerminator 2\u201d, \u201cJurassic Park\u201d<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\u201cBatman Returns\u201d<\/span>] and was considered by many to be the best special effects artist in the business.  In addition to his <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Oscar<\/span> winning film appearances, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Stan Winston\u2019s work<\/span> could also be seen in<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> \u201cEdward Scissorhands\u201d, \u201cPredator\u201d, \u201cA.I.\u201d, \u201cBig Fish\u201d, \u201cIron Man\u201d<\/span>, and so many other fan favorite movies.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Stan Winston<\/span> is survived by his wife, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Karen<\/span>; a son, daughter, brother and four grandchildren.
