  • Tomorrow night the final episode <\/span>of The Ultimate Fighter<\/span> <\/span> [before the live fights<\/span> on Saturday<\/span> to determine the season’s champ] airs. If you’ve been following the show, then you know that the biggest shocker<\/span> ending ever awaits. Previews of the episode showed the windows of a limo being busted or shot out. Dana White<\/span> then said that the finalists had been determined, but because of “the incident”<\/span> the person involved would not be allowed to fight and would be banned from the UFC<\/span>.
    My guess is<\/span> Jesse Taylor<\/span> did something stupid…. again.\n

  • Tomorrow at noon Dana White<\/span> has called a press conference<\/span> where he is set to announce something that will change the direction of MMA<\/span> for years to come. There’s speculation<\/span> that the announcement could be…
    1]<\/span> the UFC<\/span> has received clearance for fights to be held in New York <\/span>which will lead to fight clearance across the nation.
    2] Dana White<\/span> is teaming with Vince McMahon<\/span> [of the WWE<\/span>] to buy complete ownership of the UFC.
    3] Dana White<\/span> has signed Randy Couture<\/span> and Fedor Emelianenko <\/span>to fight for the UFC<\/span> later this year.
    My guess is <\/span>that Dana<\/span> will announce either a tv deal<\/span> with FOX, NBC, or ABC<\/span>… or a deal that puts the UFC logo<\/span> on clothes in stores nationwide<\/span>.<\/li>\n

    Dana White<\/span> has announced that Anderson Silva<\/span> will move up to light heavyweight<\/span> to fight James Irvin<\/span> live on SPIKE<\/span> on July 19th<\/span>. Silva<\/span> will not give up his middleweight title, but instead use the Irvin<\/span> fight to guage his chances in the heavier division. Silva<\/span> is considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world<\/span>. Irvin<\/span> will be a tough opponent and especially motivated coming off his 8 second knockout <\/span>of Huston Alexander<\/span>. Obviously Irvin <\/span>is being considered a stepping stone for Silva<\/span>. That could provide plenty of motivation for Irvin<\/span>. If Silva<\/span> wins, fights against Rampage Jackson<\/span> and Chuck Liddell<\/span> would create the potential for the biggest MMA fights<\/span> [and prize money<\/span>] ever. My guess<\/span> is that could provide plenty of motivation<\/span> for Silva<\/span>.<\/p>\n
