[I&#8217;d have said that even if <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eric<\/span> didn&#8217;t draw <a style=\"color: rgb(204, 0, 0);\" href=\"http:\/\/comicartfans.com\/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=176087&amp;GSub=28391\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">one of my all-time favorite Stallone pieces<\/span><\/a>!]<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eric<\/span> recently announced on <a style=\"color: rgb(204, 0, 0);\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thegoon.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">his website<\/span><\/a> that <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">David [Se7en] Fincher<\/span> has teamed with <a style=\"color: rgb(204, 0, 0);\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blur.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Blur Studio<\/span><\/a> and optioned the rights to the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Goon<\/span> for a CG animated feature.  <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Dark Horse Entertainment<\/span>, the publisher of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Goon<\/span> will also be involved.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">This is great news for<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> Eric<\/span> and<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> Goon<\/span> fans everywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been an Eric Powell fan for years.
