From George McCrae’s<\/span> “Rock Your Baby”<\/span><\/a> we move to<\/span> The Hues Corporation<\/span> and their hit <\/span>“Rock the Boat.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hues Corporation<\/span> consisted of St. Clair Lee, Flemming Williams,<\/span> and Ann Kelley<\/span>. The trio formed in 1969<\/span>, but it wasn’t until <\/span>“Rock the Boat”<\/span> in July<\/span> of 1974<\/span> that they scored their one and only top 100 hit<\/span>. And what a hit it was — shooting all the way to #1<\/span>. Unfortunately, they were never able to repeat their success and the band broke up in 1978<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
