Looking at the list I\u2019m surprised that my <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">#2<\/span> choice didn\u2019t show up anywhere! How in the world could <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Marion Cobretti<\/span>&#8216;s custom <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1950 Mercury<\/span> not make the list?<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial;\">Oh well. Using just their choices here are my top ten:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">10. 1970 Dodge Charger<\/span> from<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> The Fast and The Furious<\/span> film. Fun movie and a fun car!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">09. 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fastback <\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Gone in 60 Seconds<\/span>. I didn\u2019t care for the movie at all. I am a huge fan of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Mustangs<\/span> though. In fact I owned a sweet little <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">72 Mustang<\/span> back in high school. I did love that car!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">08. 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am <\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Smokey and The Bandit<\/span>. It seemed that everyone wanted a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Trans Am<\/span> back in the late <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">70\u2019s<\/span>. They were cool for a while, but then kind of went the way of disco.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">07. 1981 DeLorean DMC 12<\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Back To The Future<\/span>. Who wouldn\u2019t want a car that could be cleaned with a brillo pad?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">06. 1973 [heavily modified] Ford Falcon XB GT <\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Mad Max<\/span>. Hey, the year <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">2012 <\/span>will soon be here, so I may need that car!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">05. 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS\/4 <\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Miami Vice<\/span> television series. Heck, I\u2019d even push my jacket sleeves up when driving it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">04. 2054 Lexus CS <\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Minority Report<\/span>. All of my previous choices have been heavily influenced by the movie\/tv show that the car appeared in, except for<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> #9<\/span> and this one. This car is just too cool looking not to want&#8230; despite the movie just being okay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">03. 1974 Ford Gran Torino<\/span> from the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Starsky and Hutch<\/span> television series. There was a time when everyone wanted one of these. People with other makes of cars had the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Starsky and Hutch<\/span> stripe painted on them. I believe that <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">John Beatty <\/span>would have even given up his beloved <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Charger<\/span> for this bad boy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">02. 1966 Chrysler Crown Imperial<\/span> from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Green Hornet<\/span> television series. Who wouldn\u2019t want a car that<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> Bruce Lee<\/span> used to drive?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">01. 1955 Lincoln Futura Concept Car <\/span>from the<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> Batman<\/span> [1966-1968] television series. <a style=\"color: #cc0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/zablozone.blogspot.com\/2007\/02\/batteries-to-power.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">I\u2019ve said it before<\/span><\/a> and I\u2019ll say it now, If I was a rich man, this would be my ride.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ridelust.com charts their picks for the 50 Most Famous Cars from Movies and TV.
