S. Craig Zahler is a novelist, screenwriter and movie director.<\/p>\n

Zahler’s novels include\u00a0Mean Business on North Ganson Street<\/a>,\u00a0A Congregation of Jackals<\/a>, Wraiths of the Broken Land<\/a>, and Hug Chickenpenny: The Panegyric of an Anomalous Child<\/a>.\u00a0 I’ve read and enjoyed Mean<\/span> Business<\/span> on<\/span> North<\/span> Ganson<\/span> Street<\/span>.\u00a0 I look forward to diving in to his other novels.<\/p>\n

At this point, Zahler is probably best known for his movies.\u00a0 Bone Tomahawk<\/a><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0 Brawl in Cell Block 99<\/a><\/em>\u00a0 showed Zahler to be a promising film-maker not afraid to create genre films that are equal parts character study, action and horror.\u00a0 Zahler’s next film,\u00a0Dragged Across Concrete,<\/em> stars Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn with support from Jennifer Carpenter, Don Johnson, Laurie Holden,Udo Kier and Michael Jai White.\u00a0 I can’t wait.<\/p>\n
