I&#8217;ve been a registered <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Independent<\/span> since I was old enough to vote.  Over the years, I&#8217;ve pulled the switch for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Republicans<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Democrats <\/span>depending on the person running.  I&#8217;ve voted for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">liberal<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">conservative<\/span> causes depending on the issue.  My opinions on some issues have changed over the years, due to research and perhaps maturity.  So I wondered how the poll would turn out&#8230; had I become more <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">liberal<\/span> or <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">conservative<\/span>?  Seems that although some things have changed, I&#8217;m still pretty <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">independent<\/span>.
