{"id":20554,"date":"2018-06-24T11:01:44","date_gmt":"2018-06-24T15:01:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=20554"},"modified":"2018-06-24T11:01:44","modified_gmt":"2018-06-24T15:01:44","slug":"james-byron-huggins-is-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=20554","title":{"rendered":"James Byron Huggins is Back!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2018\/z062418hunter_2nd.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"379\" \/><\/h5>\n<p>James Byron Huggins is back!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Long-time readers probably remember Huggins best as the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1947290657?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=1947290657\">Hunter<\/a>.\u00a0 Huggins wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1947290657?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=1947290657\">Hunter<\/a> specifically with Sylvester Stallone (who bought the movie rights) in mind as the book&#8217;s hero.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1947290657?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=1947290657\">Hunter<\/a> is one of my all-time favorite novels and would make an exciting movie!\u00a0 Stallone fans continue to hope that Sly will helm a movie version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1947290657?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=1947290657\">Hunter<\/a> even if he doesn&#8217;t star in it (and he should!).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Huggins wasn&#8217;t a one-hit wonder.\u00a0 He also wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1947290614?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=1947290614\">The Reckoning<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0684834030?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=0684834030\">Cain<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0785277099?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=0785277099\">Leviathon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1891668080?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=craizabls&amp;camp=1789&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;creativeASIN=1891668080\">Rora<\/a>, and other novels.\u00a0 (And I recommend each of them!)\u00a0 Huggins&#8217; novels are a combination of thriller, action-adventure and horror.\u00a0 His skill at seamlessly combining the genres made Huggins an international best-selling novelist.\u00a0 When\u00a0two of his books were optioned for over a million dollars a piece, Huggins turned his attention to work on films.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But now James Byron Huggins is back!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"textbox\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">International and New York Times bestselling thriller author James Byron Huggins is back with a vengeance. The former police detective-turned successful author has signed with Denver based WildBlue Press to release two new novels and four backlisted titles. The backlisted books will begin release in April, starting with the thriller The Reckoning.\u00a0 More backlisted titles will release in 2018, including The Hunter, a sci-fi\/thriller with film rights owned by Sylvester Stallone. Dark Visions, a brand-new thriller from Huggins will release in July 2018. In the novel, Joe Mac, a legendary homicide detective forced into retirement when he lost his eyesight in the line of duty, is compelled to find whomever or whatever killed his grandson.
