\"\"<\/a>It’s no secret that <\/span>I love drive-in theaters<\/span><\/a>… and <\/span>comic books<\/span><\/a>. So does Mike San Giacomo<\/span>. Mike<\/span> is a writer who took his passion for drive-ins<\/span> and comics<\/span> and created a pretty cool concept for a graphic novel<\/span>. Mike<\/span> wrote “26 illustrated stories<\/span> and six text stories<\/span> set in a drive-in theater<\/span>.” The stories take place over a 53-year period<\/span>. Each story had to accomplish three things<\/span>: <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

  1. It had to be able to stand alone<\/span>, make perfect sense even if nothing else was read.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Each stand-alone story must still advance the overarching storyline<\/span> of the graphic novel<\/span> as a whole.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Each story had to somehow relate to the movie<\/span> that is playing at the drive-in<\/span> at the time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    How cool an idea is that? Very cool, I say!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
