Nearly four years ago<\/span> issue #1<\/span> of The Walking Dead<\/span> hit the stands. I bought it and <\/span>really dug<\/a> both the art and story. I soon discovered<\/a> <\/span>that I wasn’t alone. A lot of people were buying and loving it!<\/p>\n

<\/span>Before long<\/a> The Walking Dead<\/span> was my favorite comic<\/span>. After the first six issues<\/span>, artist Tony Moore<\/span> left the regular art chores and Charlie Adlard<\/span> took up the slack. <\/span>The book remained my favorite<\/a> regularly published comic.<\/p>\n

Each month The Walking Dead was the comic that I most looked forward to reading. From time<\/span><\/a> to time<\/span><\/a>, I’d talk up the series<\/span><\/a> so that ZONErs<\/span> who’d never heard of it would have a chance to jump on board. Robert [creator of The Walking Dead] Kirkman’s interview<\/a> at Newsarama.com<\/span><\/a> reminded me that I hadn’t crowed about The Walking Dead<\/span> in a while.<\/p>\n

So I decided to remedy that with this post.<\/p>\n
