{"id":22813,"date":"2019-11-03T05:00:33","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T09:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=22813"},"modified":"2019-11-02T19:37:31","modified_gmt":"2019-11-02T23:37:31","slug":"the-best-vampire-movies-of-all-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=22813","title":{"rendered":"The Best Vampire Movies of All Time!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2019\/z110319best_vampire_movies.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mark Rozeman, Jim Vorel &amp; Paste Movies Staff put together their list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/articles\/2019\/10\/best-vampire-movies-of-all-time.html\">The 100 Best Vampire Movies of All Time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I like their list.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve viewed almost half of all of the movies listed.\u00a0 Of the one&#8217;s I&#8217;ve seen, these are my top ten (listed by year of release)&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>Dracula<\/em> (1931):\u00a0 Forced to pick my all-time favorite vampire movie, this is the go-to.\u00a0 Bela Lugosi IS Count Dracula.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein<\/em> (1948):\u00a0 How could anyone not love this one?\u00a0 You get Frankenstein, the Wolfman, Dracula (Bela is back) plus Abbott and Costello!\u00a0 Look for the secret Vincent Price cameo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>The Night Stalker<\/em> (1972):\u00a0 I remember watching this as a kid when it first premiered on tv.\u00a0 The build-up to it had me so excited.\u00a0 A great memory of watching it with my mom.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>Salem\u2019s Lot<\/em> (1979):\u00a0 Another vampire movie that premiered on tv.\u00a0 Again, the build-up was great.\u00a0 Watched it for the first time with my future wife.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>Near Dark<\/em> (1987):\u00a0 Very under-rated.\u00a0 Love this modern take on vampire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>Bram Stoker\u2019s Dracula<\/em> (1992):\u00a0 has some great moments.\u00a0 I remember seeing it in a theater when it premiered and loved that Coppola was making a movie experience and not just a horror movie.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>Interview with The Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles<\/em> (1994):\u00a0 I love this film and think it&#8217;s also under-rated.\u00a0 I&#8217;d never read any of the Anne Rice novels (and still haven&#8217;t) which I really should fix.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<blockquote><p><em>From Dusk Till Dawn<\/em> (1996):\u00a0 Tarantino and Rodriguez made a winner.
