Here’s a Frazetta painting you don’t see often.\u00a0 Frazetta was commissioned to create a poster for Robert Rdriguez’s From Dusk Til Dawn<\/em>.\u00a0 Sadly, according to Frazetta’s granddughter, his health prevented him from finishing it in time for it to be used to promote the film.<\/p>\n

I’m a huge Frazetta fan. (Who isn’t?)\u00a0 I’m also a fan of Robert Rodriguez. (I guess you could say I ride with El Rey.)\u00a0 It’s cool that Rodriguez commissioned the poster and now owns it.\u00a0 I wonder the reason the creatures in Frazetta’s painting don’t match those in the film.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Dusk Til Dawn<\/em>, I think it is greatly underrated.\u00a0 I love the mashup of crime and horror.\u00a0 Hats off to Rodriguez, Tarantino and all involved.<\/p>\n
