\nAcademy Award winners Denzel Washington (\u201cTraining Day,\u201d \u201cGlory\u201d<\/em>), Rami Malek (\u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d<\/em>) and Jared Leto (\u201cDallas Buyers Club\u201d<\/em>) star in the psychological thriller \u201cThe Little Things.\u201d<\/em> John Lee Hancock (\u201cThe Blind Side,\u201d \u201cSaving Mr. Banks,\u201d \u201cThe Founder\u201d<\/em>) directed the film from his own original screenplay.<\/p>\n

Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe \u201cDeke\u201d Deacon (Washington) is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence-gathering assignment. Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a killer who is terrorizing the city. Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter (Malek), impressed with Deke\u2019s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke\u2019s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.<\/p>\n

The main cast also includes Natalie Morales (\u201cBattle of the Sexes\u201d<\/em>), Terry Kinney (\u201cMile 22,\u201d TV\u2019s \u201cBillions\u201d<\/em>), Chris Bauer (\u201cSully,\u201d<\/em> TV\u2019s \u201cThe Deuce\u201d<\/em>), Joris Jarsky (TV\u2019s \u201cBad Blood\u201d<\/em>), Isabel Arraiza (TV\u2019s \u201cPearson\u201d<\/em>) and Michael Hyatt (\u201cCrazy Ex-Girlfriend\u201d<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Little Things\u201d<\/em> is produced by Oscar- and Emmy-winning producer Mark Johnson (\u201cBreaking Bad,\u201d \u201cRain Man\u201d<\/em>) and Hancock, with Mike Drake and Kevin McCormick serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n

Behind the scenes, Hancock reunited with several longtime collaborators, including Oscar-nominated director of photography John Schwartzman (\u201cSeabiscuit,\u201d \u201cThe Founder,\u201d \u201cSaving Mr. Banks\u201d<\/em>), Oscar-nominated production designer Michael Corenblith (\u201cApollo 13,\u201d \u201cThe Founder,\u201d \u201cThe Blind Side\u201d<\/em>) editor Robert Frazen (\u201cThe Founder\u201d<\/em>), and costume designer Daniel Orlandi (\u201cThe Founder,\u201d \u201cThe Blind Side\u201d<\/em>). The music is by multiple Oscar-nominated composer Thomas Newman (\u201c1917,\u201d \u201cBridge of Spies,\u201d \u201cSaving Mr. Banks\u201d<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Pictures presents A Gran Via Production, \u201cThe Little Things\u201d<\/em> will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film has slated for release on January 29, 2021 in theaters and on HBO Max and has been rated R for violent\/disturbing images, language and full nudity.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
