If you live within driving distance of\u00a0Jacksonville, Florida<\/b>, you may want to take a trip this coming Saturday.\u00a0Big City Comics!<\/b>\u00a0[10131 San Jose Blvd<\/b>.,\u00a0Jacksonville, Florida,<\/b>\u00a0phone 904-268-9006] is hosting a fundraiser from 11am – 5pm to\u00a0benefit the\u00a0Tourette Syndrome Association<\/b><\/a>. Musical entertainment, door prizes, and\u00a0many other exciting events<\/a>\u00a0are planned.<\/p>\n

Don Perlin<\/b>\u00a0(Marvel Comics<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Acclaim Comics<\/b>, artist),\u00a0Duck Edwing<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(MAD<\/b>\u00a0Magazine, artist and writer),\u00a0Ed Hall<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(political cartoonist),\u00a0Robert Smith Jr.<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(cartoonist and caricaturist) are going to be on hand signing autographs and sketching. There’s going to be an auction of rare, original comic art featuring characters such as\u00a0Superman<\/b>,\u00a0Popeye<\/b>,\u00a0Beetle Bailey<\/b>, and many others, all drawn by their respective artists.<\/p>\n
