I work as an Assistant Principal<\/strong> at a local high school.\u00a0 A while back I posted<\/strong><\/a> about talking to former World\u00a0 Lightheavy Weight Champ, Antonio Tarver<\/strong> at one of our basketball games.\u00a0 Tonight I was working the game as our girls basketball team<\/strong> played for the district title<\/strong>.\u00a0 Kevin Nash<\/strong> [movie actor and professional wrestler] came to watch.\u00a0 Nash<\/strong> is friends of the family of one of the players.<\/p>\n

What was cool was that many people recognized him<\/strong>, but no one went over for autographs or to talk to him.\u00a0 Kevin Nash<\/strong> wasn’t there for that and people seemed to realize it.\u00a0 A group of students did walk by to get a closer look, but even they didn’t bug him.\u00a0 Too bad that most celebrities aren’t given the same respect when they are trying to enjoy some time away from the limelight.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately our girls lost.\u00a0 The good news is that coming in 2nd place<\/strong> in the district moves us into the regional tournament with a chance to still go to state.\u00a0 If we make it, maybe Kevin Nash<\/strong> will make a return visit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
