Chris Evangelista at \/Film took a swing at ranking M. Knight Shyamalan’s Movies From Worst to Best<\/a>.\u00a0 Evangelista took into account all of M. Knight’s films including his newest (Old<\/em> – which I haven’t seen) and his earliest work (that didn’t see wide release).\u00a0 I decided to rank Evangelista’s top five to see how we’d compare.\u00a0 I also included my thoughts on some of M. Knight Shyamalan’s films that didn’t make the top five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

5. Split<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n5. The Village:<\/i> I liked The Village<\/i> up until the twist. It just didn’t work for me.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4. Signs<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n4. Unbreakable<\/i>: I enjoyed Unbreakable but not as much as most. I need to revisit it.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
3. Unbreakable<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n3. Split:<\/i> I thought Split <\/i>was surprisingly good.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
2. The Village<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n2. Signs<\/i>: I really love Signs<\/i>, great cast and fun story with scares along the way.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
1. The Sixth Sense<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n1. The Sixth Sense<\/i>: Absolutely loved it. Proud to say I figured out the twist early on.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

  • Lady in the Water<\/em>: I’ve seen this once and remember liking it better than most folks.<\/li>\n
  • Old<\/em>:\u00a0 I haven’t seen this and am in no rush to.<\/li>\n
  • The Happening<\/em>:\u00a0 I had really high hopes for The Happening.\u00a0 <\/em>The trailers were creepy and I was excited to get to a theater to experience it.\u00a0 What a let down The Happening<\/em> turned out to be. I do remember that the scariest part was the old lady.<\/li>\n
  • The Visit<\/em>: I am a fan of The Visit<\/em>.\u00a0 I thought it was pretty good.\u00a0 The tension builds and builds. It had the M. Knight twist near the end that he is known for.\u00a0 I’d have included in this in the top five.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
