When I was in Junior and High School, <\/strong>Paul Gulacy was without a doubt my favorite artist.<\/strong><\/a> Gulacy<\/strong>, along with writer, Doug Moench<\/strong>, created a comic book called Master of Kung Fu<\/strong>, which should be required reading for anyone who enjoys graphic stories.\u00a0 The drawing above is a recreation of one of Paul’s classic splash pages<\/strong>.\u00a0 You can see the man can still rock it.<\/p>\n

The back issues of Master of Kung Fu<\/strong> are worth searching out.\u00a0\u00a0 I wish that Marvel<\/strong> would repackage them in a nice hardback, but due to rights issues involving Fu Manchu<\/strong> [really], that probably won’t happen.\u00a0 Still, the back issues are worth a look and you can always check out Paul’s official site<\/strong><\/a> to get your Gulacy<\/strong> fix filled.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
