The Overview:<\/strong> Peter Brown<\/strong>, a mafia hitman<\/strong>,\u00a0 now in the witness protection program<\/strong> finds his cover as an emergency room physician<\/strong> blown when he is recognized by one of his own associates.\u00a0 With hitmen<\/strong> in the hospital, Brown<\/strong> will have to use his new skills as a doctor<\/strong> coupled with his hitman abilities <\/strong>if he is to survive.<\/p>\n

The Good:<\/strong> Josh Baszell’s writing<\/strong> presents a unique spin on a mafia hitman<\/strong>.\u00a0 Nothing is as it seems.\u00a0 Footnotes<\/strong>.\u00a0 Yes, footnotes.\u00a0 This book moves.\u00a0 The characters.<\/p>\n

The Bad:<\/strong> Being dumped in a shark tank<\/strong>.\u00a0 Stuck with a hypo full of ****<\/strong> and another full of infected fluids<\/strong>.\u00a0 Thrown out of a 6th story<\/strong> window.<\/p>\n

The Ugly:<\/strong> What Brown<\/strong> has to do to survive.<\/p>\n

The Summary:<\/strong> I loved Beat the Reaper<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 I can’t remember the last time I read a book by a first time author that I enjoyed so much.\u00a0 Bazell<\/strong> has created a winner and I can’t wait for his follow-up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
