On May 23rd, Matt Hughes<\/strong> will finally get a chance to fight Matt Serra<\/strong>.\u00a0 Although neither fighter is in his prime, this is a match that I’m really looking forward to.\u00a0 These guys truly don’t like each other and have wanted to mix it up for a while.<\/p>\n

The weeks leading up to the battle could be pretty entertaining and I have no doubt that the fight will be as well.\u00a0 I think that Hughes<\/strong> will win and may even be able to do it via a submission or ref stoppage.\u00a0 Serra<\/strong> may surprise us though.\u00a0 Look what he did to GSP<\/strong> — and Matt Hughes <\/strong>is no longer on that level.\u00a0 That’s what worries me.\u00a0 Because if he wins his fight with Serra, Hughes<\/strong> says:<\/p>\n

Is Matt Hughes<\/strong> nuts?\u00a0 He’s lost 3<\/strong> of his last 4 <\/strong>fights at his [lower] weight class.\u00a0 What makes Hughes <\/strong>think that he can go up in weight and take on the best pound-for-pound fighter<\/strong> in the game?<\/p>\n
