Jackson\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Robert Patrick<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline:<em>\u00a0 Made for vengeance<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Overview:\u00a0 Beware of spoilers<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anna (Q) and Moody (Jackson) are assassins.\u00a0 Moody rescued and raised Anna since she was a child.\u00a0 When Moody is killed by a hit team, Anna vows revenge.\u00a0 Soon she finds herself in a cat and mouse game with Rembrandt (Keaton) an assassins with skills that match (surpass?) her own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maggie Q is more than capable as the world&#8217;s greatest assassin.\u00a0 Michael Keaton steals every scene he&#8217;s in.\u00a0 His &#8220;Nobody home&#8221; line still makes me smile.\u00a0 Samuel L. Jackson is always good.\u00a0 Poor Robert Patrick isn&#8217;t given much to do and what he is given isn&#8217;t great.\u00a0 No fault to him though, it&#8217;s just not a great role.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The Prot\u00e9g\u00e9<\/em> is at it&#8217;s best when in action mode.\u00a0 The early scenes with Q and Keaton are fun, but after a while become repetitive.\u00a0 There&#8217;s a twist I didn&#8217;t see coming and the ending also holds a surprise (if not in what happens, then in the, uh, execution).\u00a0 \u00a0 <em>The Prot\u00e9g\u00e9<\/em> rates 3 of 5 stars.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/logo\/zview_c.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"100\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2022\/z062622zview_protege2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Prot\u00e9g\u00e9 (2021) Director:\u00a0 Martin Campbell Screenplay by: \u00a0Richard Wenk Starring:\u00a0 Maggie Q, Michael Keaton,\u00a0Samuel L.
