{"id":31398,"date":"2022-12-29T07:58:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-29T12:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=31398"},"modified":"2022-12-29T07:58:11","modified_gmt":"2022-12-29T12:58:11","slug":"crime-scene-the-texas-killing-fields-2022-z-view","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/craigzablo.com\/?p=31398","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields&#8221; (2022) \/ Z-View"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2022\/z122922zview_texaskillingfields.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"625\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields <\/strong><\/em>(2022)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Director:\u00a0 <strong>Jessica Dimmock<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stars: <strong>Tim Miller<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline: None.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Story\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There&#8217;s a 25 acre area of land a little over 25 miles south of Houston that runs along Interstate 45.\u00a0 This area is known as The Texas Killing Fields.\u00a0 Thirty-three bodies of brutally murdered young girls and women were found in this patch of land.\u00a0 Even more young girls and women from this area are still missing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields<\/em> focuses on four of these victims.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I don&#8217;t know which is crazier: that so many girls and women disappeared with no trace and no murderer caught for years, or that there were TWO killers working independently using the same dumping ground.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was surprised to learn that Tim Miller&#8217;s (founder of Texas EquuSearch) daughter was one of the victims.\u00a0 Miller founded Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team.\u00a0 They provide assistance to families of lost and missing persons.\u00a0 I became aware of Miller and his organization when he participated in the search for Caley Anthony.\u00a0 I had no idea Miller&#8217;s daughter was the victim of a serial killer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields<\/em> has a compelling story, but was a bit padded at three episodes.\u00a0 I felt bad for the innocent men accused of being the killers.\u00a0 I was glad to find that two killers (could there have been more) were arrested and convicted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em style=\"color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font); font-size: inherit;\"><strong>Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields <\/strong><\/em><span style=\"color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font); font-size: inherit;\">earns 3 of 5 stars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/logo\/zview_c.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"100\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2022\/z122922zview_texaskillingfields2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crime Scene: The Texas Killing Fields (2022) Director:\u00a0 Jessica Dimmock Stars: Tim Miller Tagline: None.
