He&#8217;s not in his prime, but Mitchum at any age is a winner. If only he had made more<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" valign=\"TOP\" width=\"100%\">\n<h2 class=\"western\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Although Doherty limited his rankings to the movie Marlowes, I want to make mention of <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i><b>Philip Marlowe, Private Eye (1983 &#8211; 1986)<\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, a series that ran for 3 years on HBO. Powers Boothe played Marlowe. It&#8217;s been decades since I saw the series, but I remember it fondly.
