David Carradine<\/strong> was found dead this morning.\u00a0 He was on in Bangkok, Thailand <\/strong>where he had been acting in a movie called “Stretch.”<\/strong> Although his friends are reporting that he had been in good spirits, and many who knew him are shocked, David Carradine’s death<\/strong> is being reported as a suicide.<\/p>\n

Although younger fans will know him best as Bill<\/strong> from Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill”<\/strong>, older fans will remember him as Kwai Chang Caine<\/strong> from the hit series “Kung Fu” <\/strong>which ran from 1972 – 1975<\/strong>.\u00a0 Some may be surprised to know that the series was originally developed to star Bruce Lee<\/strong>.\u00a0 After the series, Mr. Carradine<\/strong> continued to find roles on television as well as films such as “Death Race 2000”, “Bound for Glory”<\/strong>, and “The Long Riders”.<\/strong> There were no real blockbusters in the mix, but David Carradine<\/strong> never seemed to be without a project that he made better simply by being in it.<\/p>\n

David Carradine<\/strong> comes from a family of talented people.\u00a0 His father was the famous actor, John Carradine<\/strong>, and his brothers Keith <\/strong>and Robert <\/strong>are also actors.\u00a0 Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and fans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
