Marcus \u201cThe Irish Hand Grenade\u201d Davis Vs. Dan \u201cThe Outlaw\u201d Hardy<\/strong>: <\/strong>What made this fight interesting was a real dislike<\/strong> stemming from Hardy<\/strong> calling Davis<\/strong> a \u201cfake Irish man\u201d. I went with the fake Irish Man over the fake Outlaw.\u00a0 Unfortunately, at least for Davis<\/strong> and me the “fake Outlaw” won via split decision<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Spencer Fisher Vs. Caol Uno<\/strong>: Fisher<\/strong> eeked out a unanimous [29-28<\/strong> on all three cards] decision.\u00a0 I thought it would be an easier win, but I was right in picking Fisher<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mike Swick Vs. Ben Saunders<\/strong>: Swick<\/strong> won via a second round stoppage<\/strong> defeating Saunders <\/strong>who I had picked to win<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mirko Cro Cop Vs. Mostapha Al Turk<\/strong>: I picked Cro Cop<\/strong>, who won via a first round stoppage [which turned out to be caused by an eye poke].\u00a0 Surprisingly, the finger poke wasn’t the most controversial aspect of Cro Cop’s night<\/strong>.\u00a0 You can read how Cro Cop<\/strong> pulled a fast one on Dana White<\/strong> here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cheick Kongo Vs. Cain Velasquez<\/strong>:: <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>I thought that Cain<\/strong> would have his way with Congo<\/strong> and it would end before the final bell.\u00a0 Cain<\/strong> did dominate the fight, but it went the full three rounds with Cain<\/strong> winning on all cards 30-27<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Rich Franklin Vs. Wanderlei Silva<\/strong>: I predicted an entertaining fight with Franklin winning.\u00a0 It was and he did.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
