Ray Stevenson died today.\u00a0 He was 58.\u00a0 No cause of death has been released.<\/p>\n

Ray Stevenson was an Irish actor known for his roles in theater, television and feature films.\u00a0 He is best known for his starring roles as The Punisher in Punisher: War Zone<\/em> and Volstagg in Thor<\/em> franchise films,<\/p>\n

Some of Ray Stevenson’s television appearances include: The Dwelling Place<\/em> (3 episodes); The Tide of Life<\/em> (3 episodes); Band of Gold<\/em> (9 episodes); City Central<\/em> (21 episodes); Walking the Dead<\/em> (2 episodes); Rome<\/em> (22 episodes); Dexter<\/em> (9 episodes); Black Sails<\/em> (11 episodes); Rellik<\/em> (6 episodes); Reef Break<\/em> (13 episodes); Vikings<\/em> (11 episodes) and Das Boot<\/em> (9 episodes).<\/p>\n

Some of Ray Stevenson’s feature films include:\u00a0 The Theory of Flight; King Arthur; Punisher: War Zone; Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant; The Book of Eli; The Other Guys; Kill the Irishman; Thor; G.I. My favorite Ray Stevenson role was in Punisher: War Zone<\/em>. He was excellent in the role and I’m surprised that they didn’t do sequels with him.\u00a0 It was also a pleasant surprise to see him in RRR<\/em>.<\/p>\n
