Bad Boy Brock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2009\/z071009ufc100.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"383\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lesnar vs. Mir<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>My prediction<\/strong> was a\u00a0<strong>Lesnar win<\/strong> and <strong>he did<\/strong>, but <strong>Lesnar&#8217;s antics<\/strong> after the fight got more press.\u00a0 Sure, <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> won via a <strong>2nd round stoppage<\/strong>.\u00a0 He was able to take <strong>Mir<\/strong> down, but once on the ground was either unable or afraid to try and advance his position.\u00a0 Instead he would lay on <strong>Mir<\/strong> and punch away.\u00a0 <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> is huge and uses his weight and canned ham-fists to full advantage.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Mir<\/strong> did manage to rock <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> with a knee in the second round, and although <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> admitted it made him see &#8220;Tweety-birds&#8221;, he was lucky enough to land on top of <strong>Mir<\/strong>.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think that <strong>Mir <\/strong>realized how stunned <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> was, and he was able to quickly recover and start\u00a0pounding away until the ref called the fight.<\/p>\n<p>After the fight, <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> was <strong>loudly booed by fans<\/strong>.\u00a0 He responded\u00a0by giving them a double-middle finger salute.\u00a0 <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> then ran over to <strong>Mir<\/strong> and began yelling in his face.\u00a0 Talk about gracious in victory!\u00a0 Then in the in-ring post-fight interview, <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> said he was going to drink <strong>Coors<\/strong> because <strong>UFC sponsor Bud Lite<\/strong> wouldn&#8217;t pay him enough!\u00a0 He told fans to keep booing because he loved it and that he&#8217;d probably go home and get on top of his wife.\u00a0 Very classy, right?\u00a0 At the post fight interview with the media, <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> apologized for his rude behavior, said that he was really going to drink <strong>Bud Lite<\/strong> all night, blah, blah, blah.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Normally when someone messes up and apologizes, I&#8217;m quick to give them the benefit of the doubt.\u00a0 Not this time.\u00a0<strong> Lesnar<\/strong> admitted that <strong>Dana White<\/strong> had taken him aside to talk to him about his antics.\u00a0 There&#8217;s no doubt that <strong>White<\/strong> explained to <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> how insulting a company sponsor would hurt future events and <strong>ALL UFC fighters<\/strong>, that insulting the fans would hurt <strong>Lesnar&#8217;s<\/strong> own pay-per-view and t-shirt sales, etc.\u00a0 So although<strong> Lesnar<\/strong> apologized, I think there was more &#8220;showmanship&#8221; in his apology than his antics after the fight.\u00a0 Think back to how\u00a0<strong>Lesnar<\/strong> acted when he lost to <strong>Mir<\/strong> the first time.\u00a0 <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> said he &#8220;gave&#8221; the fight to <strong>Mir<\/strong>.\u00a0 That <strong>Mir<\/strong> lucked into it.\u00a0 That the ref was at fault for stopping it when <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> hit in the back of the head.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Lesnar<\/strong> talked all kinds\u00a0of\u00a0junk and never once said, &#8220;<strong>Mir<\/strong> beat\u00a0me because he was the better man that night and when he pulled the kneebar on me I tapped out.&#8221;\u00a0 Contrast that with his behavior after earning a decision against <strong>Heath Herring<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>Lesnar<\/strong> was showboating and acting the fool.\u00a0 He\u00a0loses with no class and wins the same way.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that <strong>Lesnar <\/strong>does learn from his mistakes.\u00a0 Time will tell.\u00a0 If he does begin to show some class, then my opinion\u00a0of him will change.\u00a0 if not, not.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>GSP vs. Alves<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>My prediction<\/strong> was a<strong> GSP<\/strong> victory and we\u2019re one step closer to him fighting <strong>Anderson Silva<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>GSP<\/strong> <strong>easily won<\/strong> and we are.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Henderson vs. Bisbing<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>My prediction<\/strong>: <strong>Henderson<\/strong> wins.\u00a0<strong> He did<\/strong> by<strong> the most devestating KO<\/strong> of the night&#8230; maybe the year!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fitch vs. Thiago<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0My prediction was <strong>Fitch<\/strong> <strong>wins<\/strong> by crazy beard.\u00a0 <strong>He did<\/strong> and still has the beard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bonnar vs. Coleman<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>My prediction was<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Bonnar<\/strong> wins and <strong>he lost<\/strong> and now is a bit closer to sitting with fans during the fights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lesnar vs. Mir &#8211;
