including Detective Hoover and\u00a0 retired General Thomas Timms (Malkovich).\u00a0 Following leads puts the team at odds with each other and the US Military.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><strong style=\"font-size: inherit; color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font);\">Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The Hat Squad<\/em> was based on a team of detectives that was truly empowered to take more drastic measures to fight crime.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mulholland Falls\u00a0<\/em>features an amazing cast.\u00a0 Standouts include Nolte, Palminteri, Malkovich and Williams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I liked the reveal and subsequent action scene after the murderer is known.\u00a0 Also the final scene between Nolte and Griffith is handled in a non-Hollywood way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: var(--text-color);
