The unsettling supernatural thriller based upon the novel \u201cHallowe\u2019en Party\u201d<\/a> by Agatha Christie<\/strong> and directed by and starring Oscar\u00ae<\/em> winner Kenneth Branagh<\/strong> as famed detective Hercule Poirot, will open in theaters nationwide September 15, 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Haunting in Venice\u201d<\/em> is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows\u2019 Eve, \u201cA Haunting in Venice\u201d<\/em> is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world\u2019s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a s\u00e9ance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.<\/p>\n

Reuniting the team of filmmakers behind 2017\u2019s \u201cMurder on the Orient Express\u201d<\/em> and 2022\u2019s \u201cDeath on the Nile,\u201d<\/em> the film is directed by Kenneth Branagh<\/strong> with a screenplay by Oscar\u00ae<\/em> nominee Michael Green<\/strong> (\u201cLogan\u201d<\/em>) based upon Agatha Christie\u2019s<\/strong> novel \u201cHallowe\u2019en Party\u201d<\/a>. The producers are Kenneth Branagh, Judy Hofflund, Ridley Scott,<\/strong> and Simon Kinberg<\/strong>, with Louise Killin, James Prichard<\/strong>, and Mark Gordon<\/strong> serving as executive producers.
