Freeman, <\/strong><strong>Brad Dourif, <\/strong><strong>Raymond Cruz<\/strong> and <strong>Leland Orser.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tagline: <em>Witness the resurrection.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Plot\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over two hundred years have passed since the events of <em>Alien 3<\/em>.\u00a0 On a remote space station military scientists are using DNA from Ellen Ripley (Weaver) to create clone hosts for Xenomorphs.\u00a0 The current clone, Ripley 8 (Weaver), due to the melding with the alien embryos has increased strength, reflexes and acidic blood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A group of mercenaries arrives at the space station with cargo for the military.\u00a0 Soon after two adult Xenomorphs escape.\u00a0 It then becomes a battle for survival as more adult aliens are released throughout the ship!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"font-size: inherit; color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font);\"><strong style=\"font-size: inherit; color: var(--text-color); font-family: var(--text-font);\">Thoughts (beware of spoilers)\u2026<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I am a huge fan of <em>Alien Resurrection<\/em> mainly due to the unique characters and actors playing them.\u00a0 The mercenary crew could be stars of their own movie(s)!\u00a0 I would love to see some of their adventures.\u00a0 The mercenary crew consists of&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annalee Call (Ryder) &#8211; the newest member of the team.\u00a0 She&#8217;s hiding a secret that will be revealed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dom Vriess (Pinion) &#8211; the mechanic. He&#8217;s a paraplegic with a motorized wheelchair (that also has secrets)!<\/li>\n<li>Ron Johner (Perlman) &#8211; a battle scarred warrior with a bad attitude and short temper.<\/li>\n<li>Gary Christie (Dourdan) &#8211; the second-in-command who exudes cool.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Frank Elgyn (Wincott) &#8211; the leader.\u00a0 He&#8217;s cynical and willing to do questionable things to make a buck, but is committed to his team.<\/li>\n<li>Sabra Hillard (Flowers) &#8211; the co-pilot of the mercenary ship and Elgyn&#8217;s woman.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, we have&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General Martin Perez (Hedaya) &#8211; the commanding officer of the space station.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Jonathan Gediman (Dourif) &#8211; one of the scientists experimenting with the adult aliens.\u00a0 He should know\u00a0 better than to poke the bear.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vincent DiStephano (Cruz) &#8211; one of the space station soldiers who joins the mercenaries in an effort to survive.<\/li>\n<li>Larry Purvis (Orser) &#8211; a civilian who joins the mercenaries.\u00a0 Purvis carries a deadly secret.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is also a subplot which involves Weaver and Ryder.\u00a0 For me that takes a backseat to the \u00a0the characters &#8212; the military, mercenaries and civilians in a battle against the aliens on a spaceship heading towards Earth! There are so many fun scenes &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The mercenaries entering the ship under military guard.<\/li>\n<li>Johner (Perlman) flirting with Ripley 8 (Weaver) and being put in his place.<\/li>\n<li>Johner&#8217;s (Perlman) interactions with Dom Vriess (Pinion).<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Jonathan Gediman (Dourif) as he realizes the adult aliens have outsmarted him.<\/li>\n<li>The long shot of a grenade bouncing down a walkway to drop into an escape pod just as an alien does the same.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The underwater escape and the discovery that the aliens are following!
