There’s a funny scene<\/a><\/strong> in Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall”<\/strong> when Woody<\/strong> is standing in line at a movie and gets into an argument with a\u00a0stranger about an author.\u00a0 Woody<\/strong> ends the scene by saying, “If life were only like this.”<\/p>\n Not too long ago, I posted a comment at Chris Mill’s Atomic Pulp<\/a><\/strong> site asking whatever happened to\u00a0a hardboiled writer named Wayne D.
