The Plot\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Nate Samuels (Elba) was separated from her wife when she developed cancer and died.\u00a0 Now, in an effort to reconnect with his two teenage daughters he’s taken them on vacation to Africa.\u00a0 Samuels’ old friend, Martin Battles (Copley) is a biologist with access to restricted areas of the preserve.\u00a0 As they drive across the savannah they are able to get close to many wild animals.\u00a0 When they reach a small village on the preserve\u00a0 they are shocked to find all the villagers dead.\u00a0 A rouge lion is on the loose.\u00a0 Before Nate, his daughters and Martin can get back to the truck, the lion attacks.\u00a0 Martin is badly injured.\u00a0 Now the group is stranded.\u00a0 The lion will return.\u00a0 Their only hope for survival rests with Nate.<\/p>\n

Thoughts (beware of spoilers)<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Watching Beast<\/em> is an okay way to spend an hour and a half if you’re willing to put your brain on hold.<\/p>\n
