What are the odds that on 09.09.09<\/strong> that I’d post about a movie called Plan 9<\/em>?<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Surprisingly, I’m not talking about Ed Wood’s<\/strong>\u00a0cult classic Plan 9 from Outer Space<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Although some\u00a0have called Plan 9 from Outer Space<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0the worst movie ever made, I’m more in the camp of it’s so bad, it’s good.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Anyone that says Plan 9 from Outer Space<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0[written and directed by Ed Wood<\/strong>, starring Bela Lugosi<\/strong> in his last role, Tor Johnson<\/strong> and Vampira<\/strong>] is the worst ever made must not have seen Highlander 2<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>or Seven\u00a0Pounds<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>or anything starring Carrot Top.<\/strong><\/p>\n Anyway… if I’m not talking about Plan 9 from Outer Space<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0what am I talking about?<\/p>\n I’m glad you asked.<\/p>\n Apparently there is a\u00a0reboot of the original Plan 9 from Outer Space<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in the works.\u00a0 No, I’m not kidding.\u00a0\u00a0Check out this trailer for Plan 9<\/em><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and then pop back.<\/p>\n So what did you think?\u00a0 Me?\u00a0 Actually, I kind of liked it.\u00a0 Well, up until that fireball came out\u00a0of the sky and hovered over the little girl.\u00a0\u00a0It was cool how they had Criswell’s\u00a0opening<\/strong> playing on the radio\u00a0as the zombies<\/strong> were attacking everyone.\u00a0 I’m thinking the remake could work as a low budget drive-in type movie.<\/p>\n
